Alex Douglas is currently an
Authorised Representative of Halifax Investment
Services Ltd, based in Sydney. His
exposure to the financial markets dates back to
1983, when he first drew a chart of USD/JPY by
hand. |

Over the past two decades Alex has honed his
skills with numerous global financial
institutions. |
|

| |
He has worked as a foreign
exchange voice broker in the inter-bank market,
in the trading pits of the Sydney Futures
Exchange and has held numerous positions as a
market strategist and technical analyst.
In 1999 he was transferred to Singapore and
became the Global Head of FX Technical Analysis
for MMS, a division of Standard & Poor's.
Upon his return to Sydney, Alex co-founded a
global market analysis company and worked for
one of the world's largest CFD & FX providers,
City Index, as an Associate Director. |

With an ability to explain complex concepts in
easy to understand language, Alex is a sought
after market commentator and seminar speaker.
He has been a regular guest on CNBC and Sky
Business and (as can be seen below) has appeared
on Bloomberg Television. His speaking
engagements have taken him all over Australia,
throughout Asia and to Europe. |
